This model was developed with a quad (4 conductors) center construction screen-free. In addition to its HULLIFLEX ® material jacket’s excellent impenetrability to environmental chemical agents, which after years of permanent exposure would be able to attack its Matched Crystal OFC strands through their extra dense defensive Silver coating, the extra embedded Gold colored filler material assures maximum protection: by exhibiting excellent reflective properties to ultraviolet radiation (UV) from the sun, any corrosive chemical activity on the conductors is reduced to a minimum.

With our ever continuing technical improvements, it is logical to replace the already since 1982 available D-102 Series (after 24 upgrades in the meantime) by an actual HYBRID version. Together with our Linear Structured Carbon® technology, we have therefore applied some number of strands from our highly acclaimed 3T technology into the new D-102 III Hybrid.
